About the Doctor

Dr. Lisa Erikson D.C.
Education:
DC from Palmer-West College of Chiropracticwith a specialization in Sports Chiropractic and athlete/worker biomechanics. BS in CellularBiology and Neuroscience from MSU-Bozeman.
Extended training in SpineCore Scoliosis Research and Chiropractic Biomechanics of Posture. Xray Diagnostic training and clinical internship at Colorado Sports Chiropactic (Under Dr. Jeremy Rodgers, DC ATC).
Originally from Spokane, Washington the Doctor was a scholarshiped dual sport athlete in Cross Country Running and Nordic Skiing. Competing for the University of Alaska-Anchorage from 2000-2002 and for Montana State University- Bozeman in 2003-2004 she also did club cycling for the schools Bobcat Cycling Team and was the team leader for the ladies' Bobcat team time trials.
Dr. Erikson's education includes attaining a Bachelors Degree in Cellular-Biology and Neuroscience from MSU-Bozeman and her Doctorate from Palmer College of Chiropractic West. Sports experience includes years of training at physical therapy and rehabilitation centers and chiropractic first aid sports tents at many major athletic venues including the 2007 San Jose Muddy Buddy Run, 24 Hours of Adrenalin 2007 World Championships, Sea Otter Classic, San Jose 2007 World Championship Highland Games among others. The Doctor also worked with the San Jose Ballet in 2007 and passed up coaching the Womans Cross County and Track Teams for Mountain View High School in San Jose California to move to Boulder to practice chiropractic sports medicine at her own clinic.

Primarily a trail runner and cyclist, Dr. Erikson spends her winters Nordic Skiing and her summers enjoying the endurance scene with her dog Hemi. If you see her on the trail be sure to say hello!
